The Diamond-Dart Meridian Sequence

The Diamond-Dart Meridian Sequence is a simple, practical and beautiful movement sequence that when done properly is extremely profound in its ability to raise your Life Energy or Chi.   The sequence is designed to address developmental movement as well as to stimulate the Acupuncture Meridian system, allowing freer breathing, renewed energy and a positive frame of mind.   Flowing and spiraling from one posture to another it becomes a dance like movement meditation that can be explored at length or done in five minutes.

The Sequence was developed from Anthropologist Raymond Dart's work on developmental movement and put into a very specific sequence by Dr. John Diamond in 1980.  After extensive research Dr. Diamond found that done in the proper sequence it stimulated each of the 12 Acupuncture Meridians and their related organs.

The sequence is not complicated and doesn't necessarily require a great deal of flexibility, although you will find that it will help release very old patterns of muscular tension and improve coordination.  With my hands I will guide you through the movements in sections so that you will have time to become familiar with each of the meditative poses and the associated meridian and affirmations. It is a very profound and beautiful movement sequence that will increase your Life Energy and balance your brain hemispheres.
